Dear YA participants,
Welcome to the Youth Assembly! I am truly honored to serve as your director this year. This is my first time participating in a BERMUN conference, and I’m excited to share it with all of you in the YA. The Youth Assembly is a unique part of BERMUN that empowers young people to explore their passion creating change and helping others. While the YA is smaller than the main conference, it is just as impactful-offering an amazing space to connect and collaborate.
I am currently a tenth grader attending the John. F. Kennedy School where I participate regularly in the weekly BERMUN debate. Outside of MUN, I enjoy acting, and taking part in the drama productions at my school. Even though I have only been at JFK for one year, it’s been an amazing experience so far.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you, hearing your ideas, and watching the incredible work you will do over the course of the conference!
