Dear Delegates of the International Labor Organization,

On a personal note, I was born in the United States, but I’ve lived all over Europe and the USA over my lifetime. As a 9th grader at the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin, I have participated in Model United Nations for about two and a half years, and this BERMUN2 conference will be my sixth conference as a chair.
Outside of MUN, I enjoy graphic design, programming, and playing the piano, ukulele, and clarinet. I also spend a good amount of my free time learning German—I love languages and will take any chance I get to improve my language skills.
To make this a successful conference for all of the delegates in our committee, I hope you will take the time to prepare by researching your country’s stance on our topics and writing your resolution and policy paper so that you can debate skillfully during the conference.
In closing, I hope this BERMUN experience is one that fosters great memories and pushes boundaries for all of us.
Sincerely,
Malcolm Wood
